St. Luke Lutheran Church
Trunk or Treat is sponsored by the Centre Hall Council of Churches (Grace United Methodist Church, Trinity United Church of Christ and St. Luke Lutheran Church). Trunk or Treat will be held in the parking lot of St. Luke Lutheran Church this year and is a safe place for the children of our community to receive treats and play some simple games.
St. Luke would welcome donations of individually wrapped candy and small prizes (example: Light sticks, stickers, tattoos, etc.). These donations can be brought to St. Luke or our office, from now until October 26th. Decorated Car “Trunks” will also be needed, so if you are able to bring your car to St. Luke on the night of Trunk or Treat, or if you are able to help hand out hot dogs, hot chocolate and treats, it would be appreciated. Any questions, please contact Carol Sharp at 814-360-3390.

October’s Monthly Mission
Mountains of Hope for Haiti
“Mountains of Hope for Haiti” is a mission of the New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and operates under the guidelines of “Volunteers in Mission” (VIM) and in partnership with the Methodist Church of Haiti (EMH). VIM began more than 30 years ago as a grass-roots movement within the United Methodist Church. Each year thousands of VIM volunteers serve around the world on short term emergency response teams and established mission projects.
Grace UMC Building Usage
Please be advised that all building usage needs to go through the office. With the renovation of Ash Hall, there will be many different organizations and church members using that space. It’s important to keep an accurate calendar and the best way to do this is to schedule through the office. This includes usage of the class rooms upstairs. Please contact Becki in the office at 814-364-1701 for scheduling and questions.
We need Church Checkers
